Some things you just don´t want to know...

Before I go into detail about today’s happenings a few technicalities:

PC – Peace Corps
PCT – Peace Corps Trainees, we don’t actually become volunteers (PCV) until we swear in after our three months of training.
Spelling and punctuation- mistakes are bound to happen. The keyboards here are old, covered in a thick layer of dust and meant for Spanish. Some of the keys barely work and others appear to be missing, for example… where the heck is the @ sign? I haven’t figured out how to get that one to work yet. For now, I’ll have to copy and paste.

Okkkkk back to where we were. The highlight of today was the ever important “Diarrahea & Medical Kit Distribution”. PC gave all of us a huge medical kit that includes everything you could ever think of…. band-aids, tweezers, pepto-bismo, scissors, ibproufen, anti-itch cream, Neosporin, cough drops, anti-biotics…. etc. etc. Jorge, one of the doctors handed out the kits and then went over the whole thing. Afterwards, he graciously presented us with a hours worth of information on diarrahea! Oh yeah, I got way more than I ever wanted to know about that subject. From what I’ve been told, there is no escaping it. Whether it’s the water or food, something is bound to get us all.
